| To determine which BIOS version
(TCB420JA_256kb_mod.zip or TCB432L_512kb_mod.zip) to use for the
AU31 you will need to make a backup copy of your BIOS
and determine the file size. You can do this using
WinFlash and these instructions.
Download
WinFlash Utility (384KB) Save to a
folder on your Desktop.Open folder and double click
on Icon to unzip.
Click "Run" and make sure you know where you unziped
file to.
Open "Award" Folder and double click on "WinFlash.exe"

With WinFlash open, click on "File" >> "Save Old
Bios"
In the Save As Box determine the location to save file
and enter in a name like “oldbios.bin” or “backup.bin”
don’t forget the .bin. Click "Save".
Then click "Backup" in next box.
After file is backup go back to "File" >> "Exit"
Right click on the file>properties>see what the file
size is.
If it's 256Kb use TCB420JA_256kb_mod.zip
If it's 512Kb use TCB432L_512kb_mod.zip |
